The Prowlers finished this volleyball season with a final record of 20-19, 1-7 in district play. This year’s team had a lot of leadership, as there were six seniors on the court.

“This season was definitely memorable,” senior Danielle Trevino said. “We all became a family and overcame many struggles together.”

Despite the outcome, many team members learned lessons and built a strong bond as a team. “I think the season went very well,” senior Katie

Tavarez said.“Even if it didn’t end as we may have intended, I learned many valuable lessons all the while making memories with my team that I will never forget.”

Although the season has come to an end, se- niors have positive attitudes for the future.

“It’s sad that I won’t be a part of the volleyball team anymore, but I’m excited to come watch these girls play for the future seasons,” Trevino said.

With many upperclassmen, two sophomores contributed to this year’s team as well. Sophomore Erica Morales agreed that the team had many memories and has a message for the departing seniors.

“I would like to thank each and every senior for helping me as a younger one, and for being such great leaders,” she said. “We will definitely miss them next season, but I know we will use what we learned this year and give it our all to have a strong season next year.”
